How to print and download coloring pages

Download a blank PDF, print on A4 or US Letter, or keep a picture with your own colors. No account is required.

Download a blank printable PDF

Open a drawing from the coloring page library and choose Download printable PDF when available. This file contains the blank outline, even if you have colored the drawing online. PDFs generated by ColorOutline are single A4 pages with vector artwork. A separately supplied PDF may have a different page size.

Print on A4 or US Letter

  1. Open the PDF in your browser or PDF viewer, or choose Print this page on the drawing page.
  2. Select the paper size loaded in your printer: A4 or US Letter.
  3. Use the print preview to check that the whole outline is visible. Choose Fit to printable area if an A4 PDF clips on US Letter or if your printer needs larger margins.
  4. Turn off browser headers and footers if you do not want the URL and date printed. Print one copy to check the result before making classroom copies.

Browser printing includes the colors currently shown in the drawing. To print a blank outline without changing your saved colors, download and print its blank PDF.

Color online and keep your progress

Choose a drawing that supports online coloring, pick a palette color, and tap an enclosed shape. Use Undo to reverse a change or Start fresh to clear the colors. Favorites and colors are stored in the current browser. They do not sync between devices, and clearing browser storage removes them. Download your creation to keep a separate file.

Choose a level for home or classroom activities

Use the Easy, Medium, or Detailed filter in a collection, then inspect the preview. Difficulty labels describe the drawing rather than a tested age range. Choose a design with spaces that suit your pencils, crayons, and available time.

Share and use the drawings

Drawings are free for personal use at home, in classrooms, and in community activities. Share the drawing page URL so others can find the print and coloring controls. Artwork may not be resold or distributed as a commercial collection. See our use guidelines.
